Over the past 5 years, I’ve developed a serious case of IBS. It started when I quit dentistry. I used to see 20-30 patients a day… The clinic was chaos, a constant barrage between nurses and reception… During weekends, I’d attend dentistry seminars to network and talk more about… teeth (so much fun). So when I quit my job to write, I took one look at my calendar and self-diagnosed my disorder. Kieran, you have ‘Introverted Business Syndrome’.I was so fed up of people. The cure? A healthy dose of freedom. I set constraints:
How has it been? Well, unlike real IBS, a genuine delight. Sure, it was a ropey start. And yes, I’ve left a lot of ‘money on the table’. But I've protected my time fiercely. If you care about your freedom, you should too. Time is all we have, and we sell it far too short. My advice? Build assets that scale. You need an ecosystem of products that don’t cost time to fulfil. This way, you make money on your terms. No more scraping decay and plaque of teeth for a paycheck. Instead, you get paid to create. To solve problems you're passionate about. To earn with your mind, not your time. And you can do it from anywhere in the world. That's the beauty of the Internet: Digital Freedom.Note: I'm not saying never sell your time. But products give you the CHOICE to sell much less of it at a higher price. They create hundreds, potentially thousands, of customers, and there are always people who want to pay you more (if your product is good). Case in point: I sold two 5-figure coaching slots this year using just a Google doc sheet. No sales calls needed. Both clients were existing customers who had become fans of my material. Yes, the products took some time to build. But they’ve given so much time back. If the freedom-first approach sounds like your cup of tea, I have something that will help. My upcoming Productize Your Knowledge is a blueprint for disconnecting your time from results. I've been building products for over 3 years now. I've made plenty of mistakes. But after creating 3 major products and an ecosystem of 7+ smaller ones that have generated over $1,250,000… I've built a repeatable 5-step blueprint. It's everything I wish I had when I started. Because the paradox of freedom is that it requires work. But it doesn’t have to be as hard as people make it. You just gotta be intentional with who you serve, what you build, and how you build it. Keep an eye out for the launch this Friday (4th July). This is the first time I'm offering Productize Your Knowledge at scale. I just finished teaching this process to 7 clients to make sure every step works flawlessly. Now I'm opening doors for just 5 days so I can work closely with you to implement the ideas too. Join 1,600+ people on the waitlist here. To your freedom, Kieran P.S. Not sure what to build? No problem. The first module, ‘Plan Your Product’, shows how to find and pick the right problem to solve—even if you have a small audience. Then you see how to position it against the competition without needing to be an expert. And you sell BEFORE you build. … Guaranteeing you don’t waste months on something no one wants (and getting paid to create—the start of freedom). This is a step-by-step system for doing things right. Keep an eye out this Friday. |
On a mission to become a better writer, thinker, and entrepreneur • Ex-dentist, now building an internet business (at ~$500k/year)
Last week in a sun-soaked London park, Lara Acosta, a fellow writer, called me out. "You’ve changed your tune on AI," she said. She was right. For years, I've said writing with AI is stupid. And guess what? It still is. Literally. Writing is thinking, which makes outsourcing it dumb. Wrestling with words creates clarity. And in a noisy world, clarity is king. But we writers face a glaring problem: Time. You’re both artist and entrepreneur. You're drowning in tasks. Writing, marketing,...
“Zero.” My assistant said. “What?” I replied. “Nobody.” “Are you sure?” “Yes.” 2 weeks ago, my 33-day email course, 1% Writer, finished. I’ve been busy preparing Productize Your Knowledge, so I haven’t tracked the data. Today, I asked my lovely assistant, Vim, about refunds. It was our most popular launch, 559 students joined. With typical refund rates of 2-5%, I expected a fair few. But Vim confirmed: Zilch. Nada. real-life footage of me on Zoom I’ll be honest Reader… I walked around that...
"$500 for two social media posts?" My friend nearly choked on his beer. It’s Summer 2022. I've just told him about my latest client payment as we enjoy the sun. “… Damn.” He replied, impressed. We both go silent, thinking about what we’d usually do for $500 as a dentist. Needles, pain, blood, stress, sore necks. The idea someone just paid me to… write words? Ridiculous. And yet.. I ‘fired’ my client after those 2 posts. Why? Because every word I wrote for them was a word I didn't write for...
